Arriving in June Timeslips 2011

What version of Timeslips do you have? Any version of Timeslips older than 2009 will no longer be supported come June of this year. Now is your chance to get in on special discounts. Timeslips has been listening to user requests and here are just some of the new features for Timeslips 2011.

1. Edit slip descriptions without opening the data entry dialog. Timeslips 2011 lets you add or edit descriptions for the slips, A/R transactions and funds transactions from the list.

2. Get more use out of the Nickname 2 field. Timeslips 2011 lets you use up to 30 characters for timekeepers, clients, tasks and/or expenses to give you greater flexibility in using this field.

3. You can name PDF files when printing bills to PDF. Timeslips 2011 lets you assign custom names for bills by e-mail and statements by e-mail.

4. Restrict slip entry. Timeslips 2011 has a security option so you can completely restrict slip entry to those cleints that have the option checked.

5. More custom fields. Timeslips 2011 allows you to create up to 90 custom fields. You can also create up to 6 different groups to organize and categorize these custom fields.

6. Greater flexibility for reporting on invoice data.
Timeslips 2011 allows user defined invoice listings so you can get more detailed information on how payments and other transactions were applied to each invoice.

7. You can now accept credit or debit card payments from within the software.Timeslips 2011 allows you to now indicate the type of payment received fromt he client, which will give you greater flexibility with reporting on payment information in A/R reports.
